I cannot tell you whether or not Ivalice has been destroyed for sure; there is no definite proof either way. But I am glad you've arrived unharmed.

That... is rather difficult to explain. Of course, I am more than willing to do so, but I think it would be easier to do so in person. The simplest explanation would be "the wormholes," and I doubt you'd find it a suitable one.

[A familiar face. While this one's got mixed feelings still about sky pirates... Dalmascan ones, at that She fought for Dalmasca, for her Majesty. The least he could do was to offer her a little respect. The months he's spent here eased his acceptance on what he's done aboard a certain other airship. Even so, he flicked on the feed, never once thinking to change it to text or audio only. He'd face his mistakes head on, as well.

He schooled his face to a blank expression before responding.]

[Have a growl at that, before this one looks away. Though the statement was well deserved, having his mistake rubbed in his face smarts. He worked to rein in his temper, succeeding. He looks more defeated then anything else.]

[It's been a while since anyone new from Ivalice has shown up, but Basch has been ever viligant-- there are still some missing from his world, after all, and when the flood of newcomers come in, he always keeps an eye out for familiar faces.

And, well. Here's another! One that he's been worried about, of course-- the two youngest from the party hadn't been here, and at least one of them have shown herself to be safe.

On goes the video (he's figured how to work it by now), and he greets her with one of his usual, level looks.]

Penelo. So you have arrived.

[Straight and to the point!]

There is much to explain, but you are amongst friends.

Basch! [Huge grin] I'm so glad I'm not alone here. Are you okay?

[Not even a minute into the conversation and she's worrying. Sigh]

Aye, I have been keeping well. There are others from Ivalice, all similarly well-- as vague as the plight of our world may be, we are not alone.
