[It's a little blurry, the video, because Penelo has it too close to her face. She pulls back though, and is obviously very confused. She's in some generic hallway right now]

Am I using this right? We don't--[A pause]--didn't have stuff like this in Ivalice.

[It's been a while since anyone new from Ivalice has shown up, but Basch has been ever viligant-- there are still some missing from his world, after all, and when the flood of newcomers come in, he always keeps an eye out for familiar faces.

And, well. Here's another! One that he's been worried about, of course-- the two youngest from the party hadn't been here, and at least one of them have shown herself to be safe.

On goes the video (he's figured how to work it by now), and he greets her with one of his usual, level looks.]

Penelo. So you have arrived.

Something akin to it. [He's inclined to almost quirk a smile.] It is far more expansive than any I have seen-- almost a miniature landmass of its own. It takes some getting used to.
