[Ah, so one of his new roommates was apparently home. Had he known, Kyoya probably would have foregone that latter part but at least the warning had been heard. Which was really all he was concerned with - now, if anyone dared disturb him it was no longer his fault.

That's right. I'm sure no-one's at any real risk of being hurt, exactly, but it's polite to at least give fair warning, just in case.

Yes, that's correct. I arrived a few hours ago, but there appears to be much that is required up front with regards to paperwork so it is only now I have had the opportunity to evaluate the situation fully.

[Welcome to Thor? Text makes it difficult to infer tone but that wasn't exactly the reaction Kyoya was expecting. Which, in its way, speaks well for Kaoru even as Kyoya doesn't exactly enjoy not being able to read a situation]

Well enough, all things considered. I cannot say I am particularly comfortable with my current arrangements but there appear to be ample opportunities for bettering one's situation for those with an appropriate mindset so I'm sure that won't be the case for long.
