[Good evening, Thor!  If you're bored and flipping through your guide, you may come across the scene of a rather busy dinner show, in a relatively large theatre somewhere.  And although you can't see the announcer, you may or may not recognize his voice as one of the ship's many refugees...

Not that it matters.  The show is about to begin.]

[ He'd wanted to show up and support Basch. Now he's... kind of... glad he didn't have the chance. Not that Larsa can say anything about knowing how to dance well, but seriously, Basch. What was that. He is going to pick your job for you next month whether you like it or not. ]

...I am sure the Lady Ashe is proud of you, Basch fon Ronsenburg of Dalmasca....

[ Suspiciously non-supportive today, isn't he? ]

[Hope you don't mind Mr. Announcer butting in?]

Proud? Of that display?

[ Of course not~ ]

It was not... all that awful.

[ Yes it was. Who is Larsa kidding? No one, that's who. ]

Not awful enough for no one to support it.

You're obviously an acquaintance, so your opinion is understandably biased. Truthfully, however, you can't be so blind to not see how awful that was.

Ouch. I may have a new favorite program here.

[At this point, Wesker sounds bored. This is hardly a job suited for himself, after all.]

I wouldn't think something like this would hold your interest, Kamui.

Well, it usually wouldn't, but the announcer's certainly caught my attention.

Oh? [He does smirk just a tiny bit at that remark] Well, I do try my best. From what I've been told, the announcer sets the tone for the show; I believe I've set it well enough.

... ... And I thought the maracas and ruffles were bad.

[bluntly, since the ridiculousness of this job has worn his patience thin:] I'm sure they were. Why not appear on the show? Bring your ruffles and you'll fit in very well.

Thanks but no thanks. That was last month's stupid job. I have a different stupid job this month.

... Nice shades.

Then it appears we share something in common.

I rather like them. [they're awesome, aren't they.]

[Wesker isn't sure what it's supposed to be, either.

Except terrible.

Dryly, because this job is SO below him:] You mean to say you aren't enjoying the show?

That much is certain. However, wishing for anything better might be too grand of a thought. He's struggling enough as it is.

[Her Majesty Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca is speechless.]

[Just. One moment please.]

[No, perhaps a bit longer than that.]

[She didn't want to insult her Knight, but just look at this. What was she supposed to say?]

Whoever thought to record this is of ill humor.

[That...was still insulting, wasn't it?]

[Prrrrobably, but it's not like the announcer cares. It's reflected in his tone, too.]

I'm sorry you think so.

What was meant to be accomplished by revealing this to everyone?

[Other than the obvious nightmare fuel.]

Though it's a mere dinner show, the management did wish for it to be broadcasted on the network. Advertisement, you see.

If you're to be irritated, direct those feelings to the performer himself. He's the one putting on the dreadful show.
