[They're having a party. A woman with one arm and an outrageous cleavage smacks him on the back.]

[She's in the living room, taking a break from working on a newscast when she catches Kisuke's dream on the Guide. Countless refugees had been subjected to this; her turn had come up a few days before.]

[With no one to see, her breath catches in her throat at the sight of so many of their friends, gathered around the table in the only home she'd known for the past century. That home was gone, and there was only the barest chance of seeing all her friends again.]

You're such a woman, Kisuke.

[She murmurs, ignoring the sting to her own eyes as she sets her work aside and heads to the bedroom. It wasn't enough that he worked his ass off to fix everything, but he even dreamed about it too. She couldn't help him in the lab, but at least she could make certain that after a dream like that, he at least didn't wake up alone.]

[He is fast asleep still, his face relaxed, and perhaps there's a trace of a smile on his face too.]

[It was only supposed to be a quick nap, but somehow he had fallen into a deeper sleep than he had expected. He sighs happily.]

[Picks up a crime novel she'd been working her way through and sits on the bed next to him, propped up by a couple of pillows.]

[He looks...content, and so she doesn't touch him, not wanting to chance waking him up; if he's sleeping this deeply, he needs the rest.]
