The video shows her standing almost waist-deep in the water, apparently not concerned about getting her dress wet. A few dolphin fins and noses poke out of the ripples around her periodically, nudging her hands as she pets them.

[she looks up--it's like he can read her mind sometimes, really. She grasps his hand tightly, the anchor she needs right now. This feeling might pass, but at least she's not alone while she waits anymore.]

[any other time she'd tease him mercilessly about the towel, but her heart's not in it right now. She just accepts it silently, letting her hair hang over her face as she dries herself off.]

[a few phrases come to mind, like "I can wait", which she rejects immediately. Of course she can; she doesn't want to. She wants to run after him as fast as she can, but that's a little difficult with no trail to follow.]

He probably just got lost.

[she regrets that the instant she says it, but it's too late. So she pushes on.]

You know how it is. He'll show up in a week or two with that silly grin on his face, and say "Sorry, guys! But you'll never believe what I saw..."

[so it wasn't just her. she can't even say she really "knew" Sora, but even so, his departure hit her pretty hard, too. this is the second time he's come and gone. who's to say how many more times it'll happen?]

[her smile widens into a genuine one after a moment, as that sinks in. Hearing something in her own voice that she'd say...but at the same time, the words are distinctly Xion's, and knowing someone else holds the same faith is more than enough.]
