I do not understand why people seek the truth if they do not wish to hear the it. Disregarding that, I might need some advice on how to keep a mortal.

Truth is not meant to please. Most people are aware of that yet they chose to be blind.
I found that it depends on how you do it. The way Apollo did it was simple, but is no option now that the Sky's garden is gone.

Humans can also be endlessly optimistic.
It also helps if the mortal wants to be kept. Keeping them against their will is always more difficult.
What was Apollo's solution?
