This is soda?

It's a fuzzy tasting drink. The reasoning behind this is because it's carbonated.

Fuzzy tasting? [Not really sure if fuzzy is a word that can describe taste...] And it is supposed to taste like blueberry?

Well.... Yeah! But it's more artificial than genuine?

So...it's like flavored candy? [That's artificial flavoring, right?]

I see. [Well, there was only so much to see on the outside of the can, and there was only so much stalling Echo could do. Echo's fingers reached for the tab at the top of the can.]

[A small gasp escaped Echo as the tab clicked and a thin layer of bubbles spread from the newly created hole.] How strange.

The air has to escape hence why the bubbles are created. If you shook the soda can for a moment and then opened it, then all of that pressure would have built up and escaped through an explosion of soda.
