It's rather discouraging when you say it like that...

What? The planet, the lack of alien-ish types, or the model plane thing?

...Ah, pardon me, that's a very good question.

I was referring to the note you made about the incompetence of...Earth-men, so to speak.

What--you got any experience with them? Last time I was on-planet, work was pretty much abolished if you were rich enough. A planet full of lazy, dreamless slobs with their feet on top of the backs of good people.

A model plane?

Heh, yeah. My first mate builds them as a hobby. Sometimes people got a hold of them and let 'em fly.

Well, at least that always proves that they work, if nothing else.

It's true, normal speculation of an "alien" type is to look far different than what a human resembles. But maybe that's not true.

It's a bit of a let-down, I think. Well, aside from the creatures running the neverending paperwork a floor or so below.

Right, well, we don't know how long we'll be on here, or what we'll see in the future anyways.

A very good point, Shana. Makes the journey a lot less bleak.

Maybe they try to group refugees by species when picking them up.

Or maybe it's a giant conspiracy.

Hah. We're secretly all on our way to a giant, pan-galactic zoo for display purposes.

Think there'll be a breeding program?

Sounds pretty disasterous, if you ask me.

I was wondering the same thing.

Too many Earths for it not to be questionable.

Too man--

Huh.

You mean everybody here says they're from Earth?

00ne October 11 2009, 02:57:14 UTC
I've met several already, and confirmed that they are not from the same Earth-sphere as I am.

And it seems you are from a version of Earth as well? I don't buy 'coincidence'.

Kind of unusual that multiple planets would all be inhabited by the same species unknowingly all calling it the same thing.
