They just want money from the church!" Oh yeah, blame the victim to justify your blind faith.
Oooh, yeah. My parents are late-80s daily-Mass Catholics - and Mom's a convert to Catholicism, i.e. more Catholic than the Pope. They're definitely in the "those lying homosexuals are persecuting those poor old priests" camp - or worse, "That was ages ago, why don't they just forgive them and move on?" (when if it was anyone BUT a Catholic authority figure molesting children the electric chair would be too good for him).
