I'm currently completely convinced Mary will die at the end of this season. (Her music is too sad and there was a bit of foreshadowing.)

It is Sherlock Holmes, so Mary was surely going to die . . . BUT I WANTED AT LEAST ONE MORE SEASON!

Okay, I'll stop being such a pessimist now.

. . . I liked the episode overall. Not perfect -- you and I share a few peeves. I wasn't annoyed by the lack of Sally, or the heavy woman in The Empty Hearse. (At this point, I'm mildly impressed they allowed someone on the air who isn't rail thin.) But I'm ashamed to say it went right past me that Sherlock had no real reason to keep John in the dark for so long until I read it here.

God, if Mary dies I'm going to blow a gasket.

EDIT: I have read a spoiler. . . . I'm ok with Mary dying. Really, really ok.
