HOT. Yes, Abbie, those of the Georgian era were just a bit less inhibited than the Victorians were, and the Victorians only put a pretty façade over their naughty times. Research is fun!

Hee hee, yeah - I've got collections of filthy tavern songs from Ichabod's time, and the notorious novels Les Liaisons Dangereuses and 120 Days of Sodom were set in that era also. Nothing inhibited about that time.

Any knowledge of the history of birth control would have you thanking God for current methods, as opposed to crocodile-dung pessaries (Egyptian), tortoise-shell diaphragms (Europe), and sheep-gut condoms (16th, 17th centuries).
