It was never supposed to be like this. Everyone that knew me in high school or even in most of college would have never expected me to take time off from school or end up like this. Taking time off from anything is not the Cindy way. You can sleep when you're dead, vacations are for pussies, etc

Well, if you're got housemates you're not alone, or at least not in the ultimate sense. I'm sorry to hear about the letters and your boyfriend, but maybe this is just a way to say there there's something better waiting to come along and some of the higher ups want you to be ready for it.

I'm thinking about going to gradschool after undergrad and I'm petrified of what that means, or if that means anything really. I definitely don't have a 3.4...but maybe this is your chance to look for internships and some such. That way you'll have that something else above and beyond when you apply for law school again (which I'm assuming you're going to be doing, assuming things ultimately don't turn out according to plan).

Things will work out. You just have to have a little faith that they will in the end.
