Gazanias.

I just purchased these beautiful Gazanias at my local Gardening center. What I am wondering is, should I fertilize their soil? And if so, how often and what type of fertilizer do you all suggest I use? I know that they are native to South Africa and are able to grow in dry, poor soil and that I should water them until established and then water ( Read more... )

Gazanias are pretty tolerant of neglect. I don't think you'll need to do very much.

What a pretty variety. These things are tough. You might end up doing them more harm than good by fertilizing. I had some in Martinez, and they took over everything in their path. I spent more time yanking them out of the ground than fretting over them.
