Help with Plant ID?

I think this plant first appeared in my yard after I planted a mix of Texas wildflowers or they might have been in some compost. These have thrived and I love them but I don't know what they are. They are about 2' tall at most and have smooth stems with no thorns. They don't start growing until it is hot and they start blooming about August here in ( Read more... )

And they show up no matter where you are. I actually have a 7 foot fennel growing in one of my balcony planters. I'm three stories up! That's more than an accident, that's a miracle.

I LOVE the "wild peas" that come up around my property here in Arkansas. So, yeah, I understand this.
