Well, today was the day. My wonderful boyfriend came to the store with me to pick up all of my supplies and load them in the car for me. I purchased: 1 roll of weed netting, 2 bags of Perlite, 2 (2 ft) bags of Miracle Grow potting soil, 2 (1ft) bags of peat moss, and 2 bags of Black Cow fertilizer/compost. Wonderful! It looks so tiny but I bet you can get a lot of food out of that plot.

I rent a mother-in-law suite on a property with an acre and a quarter of space. The land is huge out here. This is just a 4x4 plot but as I was using 5 gallon buckets before, I feel better about this method.

Yeah, I used deli buckets myself, once upon a time, but they fell apart and were uuuuugly besides. Congrats on your upgrade!
