I know alot of us on this board are at the antsy 'when will winter finally END' stage, so I though I'd share this.

Met up with a friend on Sunday @ Borders. While waiting I picked up Don't Throw It, Grow It!: 68 Windowsill Plants from Kitchen Scraps which was ACTUALLY a pretty cute book. With a 33% off coupon I couldn't resist

good idea, it's always nice to have hard copy, the hours are l-o-o-o-o-o-ong when the power is out.

I like to grow pole beans in my windows to help get over the winter blues. I just put them in a cup with some dirt and let them take off all over the blinds. They grow so quickly, and within a few weeks they're flowering and producing baby beans! Definitely a fun little project to keep me distracted

Books are awesome! It takes me several look-throughs to absorb a lot of the information. And I always know where to find it, if I need to check it again.
