Since I'm an amateur gardener and still learning the ropes, I lurk here a little more than I post. But, today I thought I'd share a few pictures of our latest triumphs.

My son is going to be four in October, and he has recently discovered all the "rainbow vegetables" that exist in seed. I didn't know if your son has seen them, but they are great for kids. Heirloom Tomatoes, rainbow carrots, burgundy beans all grow rather easily if you water them and the veggies are all kinds of fun colors.

I'll have to check out some of the rainbow veggies. We did grow tomatoes, but the pots were a little too small (or garden is too shady for tomatoes) so they didn't turn out as well or pretty as the items I posted. However, I did neglect to point out the basil he and I grew together from seed that did really well.
