raspberries and kiddo's first sunflower

Since I'm an amateur gardener and still learning the ropes, I lurk here a little more than I post. But, today I thought I'd share a few pictures of our latest triumphs.

He was so sad when his dad accidentally pulled the zinnia, so I was glad we got these seeds in the ground in time for a fall bloom.

Those do look rather large.

That could be a trick of the lens and angle. They are fairly average size, about what I see in the grocery store. There is just a ton of them!

Would it help if I told you they were awful and not at all sweet? I would hate to be allergic to berries. You have my sympathies.

And thanks about my kid. I think he's pretty adorable, but I'm biased.
