I saw the first film on my list for this year today, The Greatest Showman. It was entertaining enough, although a bit too saccharine and cringe-inducing in some places and some of the cast were not quite up to scratch. I've heard mixed things, apparently the trailer is misleading and it's not quite as comedic as it looks.

Ok, hadn't heard of a lot of these, fingers crossed they come ot your local cinema and are worth seeing - I know I want to watch Avengers and Tomb Raider, still not seen the first Deadpool as yet (you're likely not surprised by that... :) ) I still want to read Ready Player One..

There's a website that lists all the films that are due to come out this year so I just went through it. There were a couple that I'd not heard of before. Tomb Raider looks exactly like the rebooted game so that should be good. And you must read Ready Player One, I think you'll love it.

I'm really looking forward to the Deadpool sequel (have ever since the first film) and Tomb Raider. I don't really like seeing much superhero movies in theaters these days unless it is something I am really, really excited to see.

Tomb Raider looks very much like the rebooted game, I'm hoping that's a good thing! There's 6 superhero films this year so that's quite a lot. The only one I'm not really interested in is Black Panther because the character doesn't grab me. I'm not sure about Venom yet, it rather depends on how they do it. I'm not a huge fan of that character either but it's more in the Deadpool/Logan line than the MCU.
