This is the last week of the Norwegian course so a lot of it is recapping what we've learned in the previous weeks. There was some new information this week, mainly about sets of words with similar meanings. The first was the verbs gå and dra, both of which mean 'to go'. I think I've got some of the basics so I might be okay. The course leaders sent out a thank you email yesterday, some of which was in Norwegian and there were just a couple of words that I didn't recognise. I'm hoping that would mean that I'd be all right!

I definitely had the most expensive beer in my life in Norway - in a hotel near Bergen airport ... it was something like 14 € for 0,6 l.

Bloody hell! I thought beer was expensive in London, it's just over £4 a pint down there while it's a pound cheaper in the north. But €14 is ridiculous.
