I was so busy trying to catch up with all the emails and posts after NaNoWriMo finished that I completely forgot to let you all know how I did.

I wrote about Timeless in this post. It's at best average. I find myself less and less interested in it each week. The other show I mention there, Travelers, should be on Netflix or will be. It's far better.

I hope a new Doctor will come along 'cos I just don't like Twelve ... I tried but I just ... can't.

I thought something was missing in "Fantastic Beasts ... " as well - and couldn't quit say what either. It's like the original magic of the HP films was missing ...

I don't like Twelve either. I still haven't seen his last series and I'm not sure I'll watch the next one. It took me over a week to see last year's Christmas special and I don't think it'll be much different for this year. I'm hopeful that things might get better when Chris Chibnall takes over.

There's also a massive age difference between Harry and Newt, perhaps that makes a difference too. There's definitely something missing though :(

I think when we're used to having this rich history and backstory that we've had from the Harry Potter world, this new world seems very thin and insubstantial.

I totally agree with that! The characters didn't have much to them, really.

Even Jacob who was one of the main characters. You weren't given any real background to him at all, other than he worked in a canning factory, wanted to open a bakery and had a grandmother.

Yes! Not many people did though, there were about 312,000 participants and just over 34,000 won.

I was surprised that so few people had managed to reach the target this year. I thought it tended to be much better than that so I was very pleased I'd done it too.
