I took the mother shopping this morning. Our very old microwave is looking worryingly past it - the trim round the door at the corner has parted company so it's started to drip condensation onto the worktop and there's a definite breeze coming from it. Well, at least you know what kind of hoover and microwave you want! Your shopping trip sounds like one of mine. I'll go into a store with a list, see something shiny and just totally forget why I was there in the first place ;)

I'd done some research online before we went into the shops with the intention of narrowing down the selection. It sort of worked... That is one of the bonuses of shopping online, you don't get distracted by shinies quite so much!

I'm not a big fan of shopping in a store these days. Too many people for my liking and my ability to tolerate idiots is sketchy at best. Besides, there's lots of nicer stuff online :)

If I have to go into town shopping, I tend to go on a Tuesday because that's the one day that the market isn't on and so it's always a lot quieter. And I try to go early in the day before all the numpties have got out of bed. But shopping online has its bonuses, like being able to do it in your underwear...

That's actually a really nice coat! And at such a bargain it's not really so bad that you didn't come back with a microwave and a hoover.... at least you know which ones you want! :)

We went back today to get the other things, so I put my new coat on and it was nicely warm :) Definitely a good bargain.
