I'm so so happy for you that you got a car you love so much. And it really is gorgeous. And so many newfangled features! How has it been handling in the winter weather? Aygos sadly aren't sold in the US but if they were, it looks like the kind of car I'd consider for my next one.

The independence bit is big for me too, although my car isn't entirely a financially independent thing. But I do prefer to drive myself places as much as I can, not because I like driving but because I know I'm the one in control of when I leave and where I go. I can definitely appreciate the financial part to it too though; it is an immensely good feeling to know that something is really and truly yours and you're the one responsible for it and in charge of it.

But YAY for having a new car that you love so much!
