31 day meme
I found out about this 31 day meme from ashestothestars. I've seen a couple of people do them recently but I've never done one myself. This one looks to be a sort of new yeary type one so it seemed a good one to attempt and a good time to start it! Hopefully those who have just found/added me will get to know me better and those of you who have known me for a while will learn something new!

Okay, introduce myself. Hello! I'm Nathaniel *waves*
And here's a recent photo!
It's not a brilliant photo of me but it's about the most recent one I have. It was taken on October 5th in Boston. Well, in ftmichael's car to be exact when we were on the way to meet up with assiduous1.
And here's 15 interesting facts about me:
1. I share my birthday [March 6th, just fyi ; )] with my mother and her twin sister.
2. I was an army brat and lived in Dortmund, Germany until I was 12.
3. At the end of my first year of high school in England, I got 100% for my end of year exam in German.
4. If the BBC Test the Nation IQ test is to be believed, I have an IQ of 130.
5. I love languages and have learnt French, German, Spanish and Japanese so far as well as some slight knowledge of American Sign Language. Plus a few words of Welsh!
6. When I was 16, I got funding from the Prince's Trust to participate in a Rock Workshop playing keyboards and the week ended with everyone doing a performance in the town's major theatre. I performed a song that my sister and I had written.
7. I was in Evita at Blackpool Grand Theatre.
8. I might possibly be a tenor - at least, I can mostly sing along with singers who are in that vocal range.
9. I did an exchange programme when I was at university and spent 5 months at Southern Connecticut State University.
10. I wrote my first novel when I was 18; it took me 8 months and garnered me a lovely pile of rejection letters from various agents and publishers.
11. I'm kind of ambidextrous; I write with my right hand but use my left for pretty much everything else.
12. My first car was a 1976 VW Beetle that I called the Blue Midget.
13. My favourite Beatle is John.
14. My favourite colour is purple, specifically the shade that Cadbury's use.
15. My preferred fizzy drink is either dandelion and burdock or Irn Bru.
