Does anyone have a tried and tested recipe for waffles? I've got a new electric 3-in-1 snack maker (toasted sandwich, panini press, and waffles) and there needs to be waffles this weekend!

Thanks - Welcome new LJ friend :) Yes, I discovered LJ in about 2000 and followed a few people (all of which either went friends-only or have deleted their journal). So, I visited and followed a few websites as well, yours being one of them. Then I stopped watching LJ; about a year or so ago I came back on to see how things are doing. It's very quiet - I should've opened one in LJ's heyday), but I didn't mainly because I didn't want to get involved with all the trans* and genderqueer community drama, plus to be 100% honest, the "at the time cliques" were a bit frustrating in communities when one had an opinion or view that wasn't shared lol :D
A lot of people moved to DreamWidth after Russia did their invasion thing, especially considering that LJ is not only a Russian owned company, but government owned too. It's a shame you didn't sign up earlier, the Trans community on here was amazing. Sure there was drama in those comms but it's LJ. Drama comes with the site! There has been sooooo much drama on here for various reasons.
