Although, the one in the picture is a working sawmill. I don't suppose that one will go anytime soon...

Winter certainly does have its own charms...as long as you can keep warm enough ;-).

Winter can be very beautiful - personally I love the contrast of dark trunks, heavy sky, and snow.

I agree; though I have to admit, my favourite winter days are the ones with the clear blue skies, the dazzling sunlight reflected off the thick white carpet of snow, and even though the temperatures are way below zero, you don't feel the cold as there is no wind at all. We've had a few days like that earlier in the month, but my photographic evidence of it is only available on IG.
