I can't even begin to understand the last half of this post. And spelling first wrong in two completely different text boxes? Serious issues there, buddy.

aw, come on...

I understood what he's saying.

Plus, it may be a subtle reference to Sen. Majority Leader Bill Frist, who has recognized the genocide:

Okay, then what does spets mean? I can't even think of a word that would fit there that is even close to "spets."

I can definitely understand non-English speakers having poor grammar, since English is very hard to learn as a second language, but this is just a case of incredibly poor spelling and not paying attention to what the person is typing. When every other word is spelled incorrectly, it's just laziness. It's so rampant in today's youth (of which I still include myself - youth, not laziness) that I can understand why people out there like Jack Thompson think our youth is being wasted away on things like video games.

I once made this comment on the livejournal blog for a regular poster here - people making comments like this original post just make the video game crowd look even dumber and more useless to society than the Jack's of the world already think that we are.

This is tons better than those damn commercials that try to make you feel bad to pay and then only like 80 cents of every dollatr is ever used, the rest goes to the churches and to make the damned commercials.

80 cents to the dollar? That's pretty good.

When I was doing telemarketing, we had to tell people that 'at least' 15% of their donation would actually be going to the charity, if they asked.

Where's the UN now? grimm24 May 3 2006, 13:31:23 UTC
Seriously, where is the UN now?

I guess they were too busy having hollywood celebrities try to convince Nintendo to make a UN propaganda game that will promote the "usefullness" of the UN.

Yeah, well maybe the UN should do what they were put toghether to do and stop freakin' genocide!

Madeline Albright had a great point on the Daily Show last night. She essentially said that this U.S. administration has forgotten that Africa even exists. Bush, of course, would disagree with any amount of criticism, so...

I don't see the connection between college kids playing video games and how/why it's supposed to make a difference in the world because they're playing edutainment. The "call to action" items the game promotes are worthless too. Emailing the president??? Petition house of representatives to agree with everyone that there needs to be peace in darfur? Start a college divestment? C'mon, really...the intentions are good but the planning and call to action is idiotic ( ... )

No man, it is a powerful tool college students can use to help stop the genocide in Sudan, just like the guy said.

And Doom is a powerful tool for combatting demons released from Hell. ;)
