I think honestly that a videogame is the wrong way to go. In all likelihood, I doubt a regular gamer is going to be pushed into serious action after playing this game. Most people I showed it to got tired of it very quickly, as it was apparent there was no way to "win" because it was intended to be based off of a real-life problem. I think it is hardly a "powerful tool."
Not to mention, from a gaming standpoint, the game itself has horrible control (especially inside the town), and odd elements (a kid can outrun a truck? what's the point of hiding when it doesn't work? also, how many trucks does the militia have? millions?)
I know making a game of this probably seems "hip" or "cool" to people wanting gamers to care about what is going on, but the execution just didn't impress me.
Um...the Geneva Conventions are not an active group in any way. They were a series of meetings to come up with rules for war (not exactly, but basic enough for this conversation). The Geneva Convetions, as they exist now, are just those sets of rules.
