just doing the "OMG TEENS MAY BE ABLE TO BUY AN RATED GAME!!!" story like everyone else.
Seriously I hope they do a story on dipshit parents who don't read boxes, and why they should be shot.

This sounds better than that CNN story jabrwock April 4 2006, 14:44:38 UTC
None of this "we want to talk to kids who play the games because being addicted makes them happy..."

It sounds like they want to talk to the parents who feel comfortable with their kids' maturity level.

Yeah, well, this is better than the CNN story at first glance, because they are talking to acutal parents about buying games, instead of the hype possible, "Guess how many teens play bad games!" one.

Point the finger at the parents all you want, I have little sympthy for idiot parents.

I can see it now.

"So, Mr. X. You bought your son Resident of Evil Creek: Chapter 4"

"Um...I guess so. I bought him Resident Evil 4 becau...."

"Mr. X, how does it feel to be a bad parent?"

"Wait, the reason I bought th.."

"You hate children, don't you?"

OR

The raw footage goes..

"My 14 year old son loves special effects, monster movies, and suspense thrillers. I rented Resident Evil 4 one weekend, played it, and decided that he was mature enough to play the game himself. I don't feel bad about my decision. My son is always trying to come up with ways to mimic what he sees in the game with costumes and make. I hope one day he can use that energy doing special effects in Hollywood"

With editing, B-roll and Adobe Audition...

"My 14 year old son loves Evil. One weekend he was always trying to come up with ways to mimic what he sees in the game. I hope one day he can use that special energy to mimic Evil."

That's overexaggerating it, no person would believe that a parent would say that.
