Hopefully whatever site GP moves to will still offer an RSS feed, in which case the URL for that could easily be added to your LJ friends. I hope it ends up that way, because I do the same thing.

What exactly is the issue with LiveJournal? I'm not a fan boy or anything, I genuinely don't know what is limiting about it. Personally I don't care where Dennis moves too, I just hate having to sign up for all these things. So many f-in' passwords. I hope that biometrics thing catches on. Anyway, I'm excited to see what will be new about the site!

I'm curious too. If things change too much I may not be able to read GP at work since the internet nazis around here block sites associated with "games" even if it's just a news or informational site. *sigh*

What I dislike most about LJ is that when I get linked from Slashdot or some other places, they go into the blue LJ format, and only the post they are linking to.

I think the standard LJ format is ugly and I hate that they can't see the rest of the site from there.

....because the LJ is embedded in my domain, Google crawlers can't pick it up, apparently.

So if you have set up Google News searches, GP won't come up.
