No, not really, but I'm divorced! From here it's an issue of maintenance and life.
> I have to pay him money, but it's about as much as I expected to have to pay, and most of it is spread over 10 years. Maybe he'll die early.
> We have joint custody, but since the decree is finalized, we'll get a Parental Coordinator on the case who can rake him over the coals for me for being a dipshit.
> I have to box up some more stuff here at the house and give it to him, but it's not anything I'll seriously miss (or can't/won't replace).
And I can truthfully tell people I'm single! (Not that I *had* been lying, but I really didn't like having to explain the sordid separation and divorce proceedings to anyone who wondered why I wasn't already divorced.)
Yeah, jeez. The judge was a complete prick, which meant I fell back on trying to negotiate again. Me, my attorney, and my ex's attorney spent about six hours hashing out details, while my ex had to wait in the other room all alone because he proved unable to sit at the negotiation table and act like a civilized person.

Every time I read a new post about some new wrinkle in your plans, I thought "Sheesh, will ya give a bitch a biscuit?"
(which is a thing my aunt likes to say when nothing is going right)
Glad to hear that part of it is finally over.
