Ha! I hadn't even noticed the shirt/no-shirt thing until you mentioned it. And yeah, Sylar *really* liked that! A little appreciation goes so far with him (and with Peter ... but not, say, with Noah or Matt).

"Forbidden fruit" This is actually one of Sylar's kinks, wanting what he can't (or rather, shouldn't) have.

:D

Bennet on the phone: "It's me" ooh, an interesting twist in this relationship. You can see why I can see why they can be shipped.

Yeah, they're a great ship, much better than the later Lauren crap.

That car...in the south where Tracy probably had to fly to get there...or she took the sewage system. That car bothers me, though. Is it necessary?

It's a Nissan. Probably necessary for funding. I'll take a few tens of seconds of exposure to the car in exchange for having money to do a few extra special effects.

I realized why Samuel pushed the 'you're not a politician/senator/fighter pilot'. He's pushing people away from Claire to make her come to the carnie. Sam's pushing occupations that may require Sylar to go back ( ... )

I love how Claire BLOWS OVER the whole part where she's...straight. Rather, the part where she doesn't know if she's gay or not. It's called a comfort fuck, Claire. Notice the wording, too "I just don't want to mess THIS up. You know, my NORMAL life I'm still chasing" And "Friend"

I hate the trope where women always forget to use their arms when attacked. Gretchen...well...

Way to be sleazy, Gretchen.

"I don't know" and there we have it, folks.

Convenient that Tracy and Jeremy look like they could be related.

What a great voice Jeremy is for a lot of specials, especially in regards to "Mr. Bennet"

Yeah, Claire and Gretchen ... jeez. And yes, Gretchen is not presented as a really good person to pair up with (though I pair Peter and Sylar, so I really have no right to throw stones; far as that goes, I've accepted Claire/Gretchen as one of my ships, too ... doesn't mean I can't gripe).

"Call me Nathan" is still creepy.

They made love without ever taking off shirt or bra? I really love Sylar bedding Janice for a whole host of reasons!

Jeremy's accusing stare at Noah. I got to wonder what's on Jeremy's rap sheet. Makes me wonder if Jeremy's parents weren't the first people the kid killed. School bullies, teachers, angry neighbors, or even friends. How does Noah know that Jeremy killing his parents was an accident? What's the difference between "his emotions got the better of him" and killing someone on purpose (ie, murder)? How did Noah get false ID for Tracy so fast?

"Kiss attack" - is that a nod towards lesbian rape? Because unwanted sexual contact is pretty scary and violating no matter the gender of the perpetrator. The kidnapping thing, acceding to hazing - things I've seen other people do but I can't wrap my mind around it.

The drove all night? And now it's night again?

I like that Matt took a swing at Sylar.

Why does Tracy look surprised when Jeremy says he killed his parents? She already knew that ( ... )

Although Sylar talks about her being hot, and he offers pointers, and he smugly gloats ... I don't get ANY vibe off the scene that he's really attracted to her, wants her, or feels possessive towards her. He exhibits none of the behaviors I expect to see when a guy's into a woman. It comes off, to me, as meaningless to Sylar except insomuch as 'that was physically pleasant' and 'now I can use this as leverage against Matt'. Do you agree with that?

The whole kidnapping initiation thing is fucked up. All they'd need is one good complaint to the school board and evidence and...no more psycho, lesbo pranks! I dunno. In the nine years I went to the University of Oklahoma, I think two or three guys were killed in initiation rites and one was turned into a mental vegetable. That's not counting alcohol poisoning, auto accidents, and assaults resulting in death. OU isn't a big university; only had 20,000 or so students. I recall one hazing incident where frat pledges stripped naked and had to attempt to climb a greased flagpole to snag a ( ... )

Oh, totally, I agree with Sylar not being *actually* attracted to Janice. No, no, no. At the end of the day, he's smart enough to know that she's got emotional ties to Matt and Sylar won't ever fit into that. That's a huge turn-off to him for a real relationship. He had a fun time, everything else is him playing it up for mass effect against Matt. Though, I do think Sylar is very jealous of Matt's life, Janice falls into that category of "things" Matt has that Sylar doesn't or "things" that Matt has managed that Sylar hasn't/hasn't been able to figure out or procure for himself. That might be the smuggest we've seen him for getting laid, but that's about it. He has his reasons for that, too, obviously ( ... )
