If the puzzle isn't missing any pieces, try donating it to a local library, senior center, children's hospital, or other some such place. I'll bet it still has more life in it!

It was missing pieces. I could have sworn all those old puzzles were complete.

I tried donating used books to the library one time. It didn't go as smoothly as I'd hoped. They were downright suspicious. It was weird. I just want to get rid of some crap in this house before we (eventually) retire and move somewhere else and also just so we aren't so cluttered. Curmudgeon is putting all kinds of roadblocks in my way. I should write about this to get it off my chest. Wait, I just did!

Odd. The library in the little town by us accepts books, not for their shelves but for the semi-annual fundraiser. They also take some toys, and will accept puzzles.

All I can think was that this was right after Madonna came out with her book, "Sex", which was quite controversial in its time. Perhaps the librarian thought I was sneaking porno into her collection. I do look like such a pervert.
