Gah, I love girl!Infinite fic. And I love how you've explored the competition that existed between Sunggyu and Woohyun pre-debut but added that twist that's got to be more of a a presence for female idols than male ones. The power play here was fascinating. Thanks for sharing!

thank you, i'm glad you liked it! i had girl infinite in my head (i think my thought process was literally "IMAGINE WOOGYU AS GIRLS?!") but wanted to justify writing them as such, so i'm happy it works.

i just sat here for a million minutes (ok not really) trying to figure out a nice comment but just gives you fdjskflsd and exclamation points instead. !!!!!!! sunggyu's temper and woohyun's insecurity somehow seems more vindictive when they're inside the bodies of girl trainees, idk i love it :( i just love femfinite :( feel free to write as much yeoja pini as you want /stares and smiles expectantly (ㆁᴗㆁ) keke

i love how subtle yet powerful the emotions in this fic are -- there's something about it that works really well for fem!finite, i think. and this line pretty much had me starry-eyed: "Sungkyung grabs Woohee’s wrist and pulls, and an electric current runs up and down Woohee’s body, thrill and fear crashing and overlapping until they wipe each other out and she feels nothing at all." just, wow *u*

wow, this is fantastic! for some reason, I really like gender-swap fics, I think it lets us see into the characters in a deeper way and it's definitely interesting. I feel like you did that really well, exploring the jealousy and insecurity and competition between WooGyu (WooKyung?). somehow it's more cutting to read it when they're girls. I really enjoyed this :D

btw - did Sungkyung actually like Dongmin??

thank you very much for your comment! yes, it was really interesting to explore the way their relationship changes (and doesn't change) as girls instead of boys - and the subtle changes in their personalities, their decisions, etc. the interesting thing about genderswap is that when done in a certain way, it can reveal what characteristics are essential to a person when other circumstances are changed.

as for the second question, well, the answer is a bit complicated! i'm assuming you're coming to this from penny_lane_42's remix, and when i first wrote this, i didn't envision it as an exploitative sort of relationship as it was in her version - or not purely, at least. in my mental backstory, dongmin initiated the relationship but didn't force it on sungkyung; she accepted as a sort of "well, why not" situation, and because she was flattered by the attention. she liked him enough to stick around, but was more into the idea of being in a relationship (and the feeling of superiority from being in a relationship - the chain bracelet was a status ( ... )

yeah I did find this from penny_lane_42, and I'm so glad I did ^^ there are so many fabulous fics sitting out there that I never stumble upon. ahh I see, yeah that's very clear to me :) thank you for the explanation. I can see Sungkyung being "well, why not" a lot better than I can see her being very manipulative and exploiting him, or feeling strongly for him. I think it's very interesting that you got this from "student/teacher" xD
