Finally, a post!
So, my Christmas holiday ended today. And I have an exam next Monday, and another the Monday after. It feels very soon after all the mocks before the holidays, but what can you do? But optimism is a good policy for 2009, so let's not delve any deeper into that.

Good thoughts on Eleven. It seems things at doctorwho are dying down and on the whole, any negative posts about the casting decision are tending to get a whole lot of backlash. Not that I condone it, but it is good to see that people are not as upset as they were initially and more and more people are coming around.

Thanks! I agree, hopefully most of the negativity was caused because of shock and will simmer down. It's nice to see people willing to accept Eleven, instead of just getting totally upset about it.

The fact that he's young could be so very awesome and interesting if handled correctly
I think so, too! I mean, with David's back they can't really go all out in the coming episodes, but it must be nice for the writers to know that anything is possible for the new season. I mean, you always hear how hard it is to play the roles of people like the Doctor, so with him being young you'd think doors would be opened in terms of plot ideas.
It's just a shame how so many people jumped on him, and I think it's not so much his age or his looks or talent, but just the fact that he won't be David. Which is sad. But it's nice to see people like yourself being optimistic and giving him a chance.

That's a really interesting idea! It's a complete contrast to what everybody's been saying. Like you say, I'm sure they will find some way to use his being young to an advantage.

Yeah, I've heard there is a big fuss about the new doctor, but I'm not making a big deal out of it... all of us new that it will come sooner or later and a fresh new face might bring something more to the show :)

I did pretty much the same :D I was sick during holidays, but that was okay, i would have wallowed in my bed anyway :D Damn, don't talk about next week :( I have so many subjects that i have to catch up on :/
