You really loved being a teacher, no? I'm so glad you were appreciated, and the proof has been evidenced in several photos. It's nice to see you shine. :)

Thanks. I loved it for the most part, but it would be unrealistic to say it was all joy. It could be quite anguish-making. And I think that is true for any teacher. But I certainly enjoy reflecting on the many good people I came into contact with in the classroom over the decades, like these two great guys, and I am humbled that they and others like to keep in touch as the years go by.

Yes, big Dave next to me had the special that included them and I sampled a sliver. At one time I too used to go to IHOP for late-evening pancake snacks. For dietary considerations I must generally avoid them. So sad.
