I've somehow managed to slip through the zeppole cracks, so to speak. I have yet to try it, though that first picture is certainly an inspiration.

And I thought it was a former student of mine, Dave Procaccini, who is also lactose-intolerant and with whom I was having a few drinks last Monday. They should make a version of zeppole with soymilk for you guys. You must have recognized the shorter-haired Drew and Ryan Audino from the De Luise Bakery shots. I'm not sure if you met Ray Pacia. But those 1973 shots with me in my London wool-cashmere tailored suit and everyone in the class wearing red carnations and drinking wine are the best. After I got them all drunk, they had to go back to class!

Soymilk.. bleh. I'd rather just choke down a lactaid pill and eat myself stupid.

I do recognize the two of them, sans locks. So boyish and innocent. those 70's pics disturb me a wee bit, however. so much gnarly hair and big goofy glasses. the 70's were a terrifying time period, to be certain.

Ha ha! I was going to have you two settle this by having a wrestling match on top of a one-ton zeppola.
