To be embarrassingly personal, he's probably got some reservations about sex from a control aspect. He draws a connection between the all-consuming desire of the Atma and libido. They kind of come from the same, primal part of the brain, anyway, and it worries him such that he has to stay on guard.
Yeah, he does like it, but he'll always prefer their more chaste activities.
I really shouldn't use this icon for this comment. I really shouldn't. D: But I DID.
Aww. Poor Gale. Vic can understand it. She has her own issues that I need to clean up and properly define.
She likes it too, and certainly sees it as a way to cement a relationship blah blah blah emotional connection blah blah greatest gift blah blah blah, but yeah. Snuggling with a mug of tea is quite acceptable.
It says something about how Gale is comfortable enough around Vic to drop his calm for however long.
Also of note: I think the thing that Gale has that's even remotely close to a kink/fetish is to do with breathing. Not freaky breath-play stuff, but he just likes breathing -- the feel of it, a unity of it, controlling it, etc. (More from a calming, meditative aspect.)
If he's cognizant of this, he'd write it off as a carry-over from Vayu that should be quashed. (God of Breath, LOL?)
He's already had a little Atma quite by accident... :P
But the idea of real children appeals to him. There are a number of things getting in his way, though: one, the fact that the one woman he'd have kids with is sterile, and two, he'd be afraid that the Demon Virus would carry over to his children, and he can't bear the thought. (Not to mention he'd be plagued with PTSD nightmares of devouring his own kids.)
Yeah, he'd love to have children, though, and he'd have endless amounts of patience with kids and their curiosity. He'd be kind of an intimidating dad, though.
If he's startled awake, he'll have a brief fit of Junkyard relapse wherein he'll reach for a weapon, first thing -- probably the same general place by his bed that he put it in the Junkyard. He'll get a jolt when he finds his gun isn't there, and thus realize where he is

Anything that involves personal expression, really. Victoria likes to call him a poet, and Lan is always sharing lovely poems... He might have tried jotting down a few verses from time to time. He thinks they're embarrassingly bad and he'd never tell about or show any of these personal, creative efforts to his tribe.
If he tried any of the other arts -- music he could probably play flawlessly, but with all of the passion and personality of a music box. If he tried creating artwork, it would be hideously detailed photorealism, but again, with all of the self-expression expected of a camera.
Words are the only medium he can really come close to working with.
I've seen a lot of how Gale relates to and is affected by Vayu... but very little about how he interacts with his other headmate. How does David's presence affect Gale, what are they like with each other?
Alternately, what's Gale's favorite book of all that he's read so far?
From a player's standpoint, I'm still trying to figure this one out; it's kind of a foggy relationship. They're very much their own individuals, but they're still firmly connected by similar interests and passions. They both love and are desireous of protecting people, they're both scientists (although David is more of a legit one), and generally have the same philosophical views. Personality is one of the bigger differences. David's more casual and laid back, whereas Gale is very rigid and inexpressive.
As for how they interact, they've been successfully partitioned, so there's no involuntary overlapping of memories. David tries to stay out of Gale's way out of respect for Gale's individuality. Gale likes to talk to him, though, and enjoys learning about David's life -- mostly because that's how he could see himself living his own life if he didn't have the Atma, and the Junkyard experience bogging him down.
His favorite book(s) have mostly been of the philosophical sort. He particularly likes René Descartes' Meditations on First

Gale would probably end up adopting sometime.

So yeah, there was little/no/hahaNO chance of her ever having kids in the first place.
