She can't stand being in the house for too long right now, anxious and worried and annoyed that the last time she was taken, Ion had been able to charge right in and rescue her. Now that it's his turn, she can't do a thing. How is that fair?]

[After everything that's been occurring lately - from Nephry's near death experience from the previous draft to Ion's stealthy kidnapping - Dist's taken it upon himself to finally start working on a small handheld weapon to carry on him. Nothing fancy, but he's managed to complete a fontech gun at last, and was just about to go and test it in the battledome when Anise and her monstrous doll come bulldozing over.]

[Oh, it's Dist. Anise blinks, before laughing sheepishly.]

[He growls, and - perhaps in his irritation - doesn't realize he's actually accepting her small hand as he gets up, dusting off snow from his clothes. Honestly, he just got this new coat a few weeks ago! Sure, he didn't pay for it, but still!]

Oops indeed... What in the world are you doing, Anise, running around on your doll like that in such a hurry? [Searching around for the fontech gun he dropped, he plucks it from the snow and sighs. She better not have ruined it!] I have a second mind to disable its growth mechanism, if you're just going to plow into people carelessly.

[Simon's been digging around underground for a good chunk of the day - when it's snowing, he feels much more at ease in the dirt. Unfortunately, that means he tends to pop out of the ground without much warning. So as Anise and Tokunaga are ambling by, a little blue head pokes out from under the snow... and promptly yelps and ducks back in before he can get stepped on. Tokunaga's foot could definitely do a number on his head.]

[She heard that yelp! It's loud enough for her to stop and turn and look around for whatever it was that made that sound. She won't see Simon if he's hiding in the hole he made, though...!]

[Once there's no shadow overhead, he does peek back out again, though cautiously at first. He'd rather not get squashed. He spots Anise quickly enough.]

[Oh geez, she almost ran over Simon? She really needs to pay more attention... She backtracks quickly and jumps right off.]

[Huh, that's pretty weird... Anise has to pause and stare at her journal, and then behind her. She could just swear that she heard that yelp in digital surround sound? stereo or something...]

[Except she sees an oddly familiar head of blonde hair sticking out of the snow over there. Uh.]

[There's a muffled sound from in the snow-- it might be a yes or a no, but it's impossible to tell for sure. The head is wiggling around a bit, though.]

[Mithos wouldn't be outside at all if not for the fact that he needed to get a new sword, Yuan having confiscated his after their...encounter. It wasn't an incident he enjoyed dwelling on in the least, being utterly and shamefully defeated like that by Yuan. Just thinking about it fills him with anger.

Suddenly, A GIANT DOLL comes gunning down the road. What in the-- Mithos is barely able to leap to the side in time, and ends up losing his balance with a cry of surprise. Come on, he just got out of the Medical Center a few days ago.]

[Cries of surprise are way too common of an occurrence today, geez. Anise turns to see who she nearly ran over this time. It's not long before she spots that other kid on the ground.]

H-hey! You okay over there?

[Quickly standing up and brushing the snow off. No harm done...except for adding to his already bruised ego. At least the wings are okay; he's a little...wary of those right now. He answers her concerned question with a glare.]
