Hello, I saw you had visited my journal, are you able to read English? I hope so, because I don't know any Russian! :)
I wondered if it was because I had done 3 days on the Camino Frances? It was in July 2012. I looked at your walk on the Camino in Spain, but even with the Google translate it was difficult to follow, :( still I enjoyed picking up the atmosphere.

Hi! Yes, I can speak English fluently. I visited your livejournal because I was looking for someone who writes daily stuff in French - I am learning the language now, and wanted to increase the level of my immersion into it )

No, it's not because of the Camino, but here I marvel again at how Camino draws strangers together somehow :)

I did Camino Primitivo (and a bit of Camino Norte) this April. And I feel like walking some Camino again someday, it was wonderful!

I am writing down the story of my spanish travels now, and someday I will translate it into English, but as for now I am busy enough with the Russian version :)

P.S. Just for the sake of curiosity, I tried translating the above post into English with Google Translate. Looks horrible :)))

I am sorry to disappoint on the French. :( I write for my family, so although I live and work here, I tell them about it in English.
It is true that the Camino is a wonderful experience. Our house is on a variant, so we meet pilgrims quite often. It was fun to meet them when we were walking, too.
Perhaps you could do some of the French route some day, a great way to practise! I love the French side of the Pyrenées far more, we get all the rain, but also more of the variety in the wildflowers.

You definitely shouldn't be sorry, I was just flipping through journals of people who live in France. Not much luck there! I guess there aren't many french-speaking people here at all :)

I was impleasantly stricken by the crowds on Camino Frances.. It is WAY more crowded than northern routes. But it's an experience I want to get someday. I guess that's wonderful, living in a house on Camino )

Do you mind me adding you to friends list? I flipped through your lj and I loved the way you write. Reading good English is no less desired than reading good French :)
