i was in the kitchen at work, heating up some soup and a co-worker came in and said, in a defeatist tone (the guy kind of sounds like the teacher from ferris beuller), "it's like a nightmare that never ends." it made me giggle. he was serious. he is probably in his 50's and has been here at least 10 years. meh.

Ha ha ha! I love it. I can't imagine working in the same place for that long. I know its done, and quite often, but for me, it seems impossible.
