That was creepy and rather depressing. And I can't believe you made me feel sorry for the Wraith. I found it quite understandable though that they'd be so focused on ascension, trying to get back the telepathy and long life in another way.

Wow! I loved how this story slowly builds. It makes the moment of understanding (it hit me when Susuro described their common enemy) so powerful. And then, going back, it all unfolds so beautifully (the hints about hunger and the insects in the hive and the desire for communion without words). And oh! John's sacrifice! And then, I suppose Rodney's... Very beautiful and painful and... very good read. :)
