Writing Update and a Purse

I pretty much have been avoiding writing out of guilt while I didn't edit my short story. Which is lame.

There is a God: My edits are basically complete at long last. I need to do one more pass, and then it goes back to the editor. I'm pretty pleased with how much better it is with the additions. Mmmm revision. Such a pain in the ass but so worth ( Read more... )

revision is a pain in the ass. I'm still doing that on my novel so I can shop it around

I wish I knew why I am not writing

Thanks. :D I like that I have a place for my alchemist watch.

I know. It took me like two weeks just to work up the wherewithal to look at the comments, too. And then another several days to start working on them in earnest. But once I started thinking about it, I could see where the story needed to be filled in some more.

I feel you there. I need to get back into it.

oh yes, that's how I have to approach it too. Let it ferment for a day or three, open it, whine incessantly that there's so many edits, then finally DO the editing and make it better.

you and me both. Once I get this last fanfic thing out of my face, I'll have no more excuses

I love my purse too! It is being really comfortable and nice.

I fully expect that to happen sooner than later... but it was a sweet gift. :) And it's fun to pull out when I want to check the time.

Yes, I even took my watch to a local watch repair-er, and was told that it couldn't be fixed to run again. *sniff*
