I cannot believe it's been almost four years since I posted that picture of Barack and Michelle Obama, which is essentially the last time I posted in my journal. But in two Fridays I'll be heading to Macedonia for seven weeks, so I'd really like to have somewhere to document my trip. My passport came on Saturday morning and now all I want to do is

I braved my flu in the freezing cold temperatures this morning to go see Barack Obama and Joe Biden speak for about 20 minutes.

It was so worth it.
I witnessed history.

moved out on my own!

i don't think I made any for 2008.

One of my best friends from high school did, as well as a friend in NC.
