I loved how when Six and Baltar were singing, whenever they mentioned the child, it panned to Gaeta. That was all sorts of awesome. Also? The stabbing? Hot. Although, this convinces me even more that Gaeta is a Cylon. But that's another story.
2) whaaaaaat the hell. What did Baltar SAY to him? because I was totally too busy freaking out with my roomies to notice if the tense whispering was really clear or not. also, STABBITY. JAYSUS. O_O
3) If he's not a Cylon now, I think I'm gonna be disappointed.
Okay, making it something about the Sagitarrions (which we haven't *heard* about since like "Bastille Day") would be lame, because they haven't been a major thread or plot line. It's like, hey, let's have this guy have some CONFLICTI! Yee!
And Baltar doesn't really call him a traitor, does he? He says he betrayed *Baltar* because of the security camera, but then he says "there are things worse than traitors", doesn't he?
-And BLARG because you make me want to write Gaeta/Random!Cylon slash from Occupation New Caprica.
He says something like "Who is the REAL traitor in this room?", which implies Gaeta had done Something Very Bad which Baltar was privvy to, but I'm thinking that's a reference to the cut storyline they somehow couldn't get rid of.
Which is fricken' sad. Minus another 100 points, Moore.
One thing I'd like to know...Did Gaeta intend to kill Baltar or save him in the beginning scene? Cause if he wanted to kill him, he did a pretty poor job of it, but that seemed to be what Roslin thought he was going to do.
And then, did it seem to anyone else like Gaeta was almost trying to show the camera to Baltar? I mean, he looked *right* at it, and it seemed like he was hinting at something. It didn't seem to me like he went in that cell with the intention of stabbing Baltar, but that Baltar pushed him over the edge with the whispering.
It's very confusing, the entire thing, but I'm thinking that Gaeta was supposed to be really unhappy that Baltar was alive and aboard ship, possibly because he might spill the beans on The Cut Storyline Secret of Gaeta's, so he planned on off'ing him before he could squeal on Gaeta's hidden badness, but the way it stands now, Gaeta's trip to Baltar's cell in the beginning is a mystery.
And yes, Gaeta interrogation techniques were amazingly shoddy. I can't imagine it wasn't on purpose in a devious kind of way. Or, maybe Gaeta is just that shitty and nervous a liar ... WHO KNOWS ANYMORE?!
Or, Gaeta could just be really s**tty at lying around Baltar period. Yesterday, Baltar did admit that he knew about Gaeta double agent status and basically chose to ignore it. I don't think we've ever seen Gaeta successfully lie to him before.
I doubt he's that bad of a liar in general because we've seen him pull off lies before. He knew how to lie to Tigh to protect Dee and to the cylons. Maybe Gaeta's a good liar when he just doesn't give a s**t about who he's lying to. (I don't think he'd be able to Dee successfully.)

I'm betting Ron Moore doesn't.
