I bet you are!! I'm so happy you were able to go and had a good time. I remember meeting people in person for the first time -- it was such a rush of emotion and surrealness. Like you kinda knew they were real but now they're standing right in front of you!! LOL!
Kudos to you Amanda for being so strong, and keeping your head held high. I know what you mean about LJ - it's a magical place most of the time, and my flist, like yours, keeps me going in tough times.
I have a cousin with Crohn's, she's had a tough time with it. Her name is Rhonda Sheffield, and she's 47 years old, and has had Crohn's for about 8 years now. She's still fighting it though.
Thanks for your devotion to Crohn's awareness, hopefully research will help in the future to find a cure and prevention.
Thanks so much. :) This is going to be a challenge, but a good one, I think.
The hubs is actually scheduled for another surgery next week (on Tues) and that will set him back a bit, but he's determined to get back in the training swing as soon as he's able. He wants to do this not only for himself, but for people like your cousin.
If you could...a friend of mine from a long time ago needs to be added to that list. I don't know if she's even alive anymore (she also had cancer) and I can't remember her last name to save my life *is ashamed* - but...her name was Dawn. Can you do that for me?
*hugs*
I'm so proud and awed by you and your little family! Just let me know when you need me to boost that signal again, 'kay, sweetie?

Anything for you, my friend. :)
*hugs you back tight enough to make you gasp*
If you feel like it in a couple weeks, I'd love a signal boost. :)

Ohh, love a good Squish!
*Squishes you back with enthusiasm!*
Will do!! Just nudge me if I forget, okay? Memory is getting horrible of late.
*Sends love and warmth*
