Brian really doesn't think that he is good enough for Justin, does he?

"I don't want you to look back one day and think 'Why did I do this? What did I give up? And for this asshole?'"

I am so glad that they have talked. Hopefully, they will soon actually be in the same room. Keep it coming!

Isn't that the basis of so many of Brian's problems? Why
he always pushes Justin away?

He's not good enough.

As much as Brian tries to put on the apperance of a self-confident asshole, he really is insecure deep down, especially when it comes to personal relationships. I'm glad Justin can get through to him (usually) and convince him of how much Justin wants him.

And Brian actually talked about his feelings! And he's told Justin "I love you" twice. I just hope Brian keeps up these changes. :)
