sorry for late reply... have you made a decision yet? I would try and go part-time as a first option. (Use the wedding as an excuse, you don't need to tell them you're looking for other work!) Then you'll have a) more time, b) still some steady income, c) a current reference on your resume. Also, being under-employed is way less psychologically soul-destroying than being completely unemployed with all that entails (financial dependence, no structure to your week, no feedback about your competence apart from rejection letters sapping your morale, etc. At least, that's my experience).
