I forgot to mention I met Miranda Otto in Sydney. I figured that'd be appreciated here, since we're all such LOTR fans. Eowyn herelf. So yeah, that was pretty fun :)

Also, after that shit they pulled last night, there is no way I am watching Desperate Housewives ever again. I've been waning for a while and this was just the straw that broke the ( Read more... )

What DH crap are you speaking of? And UB chemistry? I don't usually care about the ships on most shows. It's rare that I get worked up over them (like C/A), so if people do or don't get together I'm usually meh about the whole thing.

LOL :hugs you:

DH crap would be initially ditching Mike/Katherine, which was all about character growth and superior chemistry, for Mike/Susan (most people hate Susan because she is selfish, whiny and annoying and yet somehow, always gets her way and the best looking men), as well as making Katherine, who was finally HAPPY, look like a psychotic bitch, when she was really wronged by two completely asshole characters.

The straw that broke the camel's back was killing off Karl. Again, Susan gets all the happiness in the world but Bree, who has been through hell in her love life, finally gets a man she is passionate about and happy with, and they kill him off. So yeah, no longer interested in watching.

Ugly Betty for me was never much about the ships either (and yeah, I agree that smaller, crappier shows only HAVE the relationships to depend on rather than any actual storylines so they can't afford to screw them up sop badly) but firstly, they threw out Henry/Betty, which was awesome, though less painful than their most recent ( ... )
